A lovely style for someone who prefers delicate jewellery.

An eye motif set in pave with a single round stone at its centre, worn on a fine black bead bracelet. The nazar carries its own meaning alongside the black beads, which is why this one tends to get bought as a gift for a new bride or a new mother.
Perfect for: the woman who likes her jewellery to carry a little protection with it.
Best for: gifting · daily wear · new brides · festivals

Why Vachansutra
Most mangalsutras are built for the wedding day and then sit in a locker. Ours are built for Tuesday.
Designed at a weight you can wear through a full workday, a commute and a gym bag, and still not think about.
The black beads carry the meaning. Everything around them is kept small, so it works with a kurta and with a shirt.
You are not choosing one piece for life. You are building a small set and wearing what fits the day.
In the detail

Two rows, not one. It sits fuller on the wrist and holds its shape instead of collapsing into a thread.
The centre stone is set into the metal, which is why it stays put through daily wear.
Fits wrists from 6 to 8.5 inches. You put it on one-handed, which matters more than it sounds.
Plated for shine and durability, with a care card in the box so it stays that way.
Fit
One size, adjustable. Measure once with a thread and a ruler and you will never wonder again.
Solid line is the bracelet. Dashed is the extender chain. Most women land between 6.5 and 7 inches.
Wrap a thread around your wrist just below the bone. Mark where it meets and lay it flat against a ruler. Add half an inch for comfort, that is your size.
Between sizes, or buying as a surprise? Take it. The extender covers a full two inches, and exchange is free for 7 days either way.
Questions
Add any two pieces to your bag and the lower-priced one comes off automatically at checkout. No code needed. It works across the whole range, so you can mix a bracelet with a chain mangalsutra.
No. Our pieces are gold-plated, and we say so on every product page. Real gold at these prices is not possible, and any brand telling you otherwise is not being straight with you.
The plating is anti-tarnish and holds its shine with normal wear. Like all plated jewellery it lasts longest away from perfume, water and lotion. Every box has a care card.
No. Where a piece has a solitaire look, it is cubic zirconia, and it is labelled as cubic zirconia.
We dispatch in 24 to 48 hours. Metros usually receive in 2 to 4 days and the rest of India in 4 to 7. The pincode check above gives the exact date.
See the Size and Length Guide, it takes about a minute. Bracelets are one size with a 2 inch extender. If you are still unsure, message us and we will help.
Free exchange within 7 days of delivery, unworn and in its original packaging. See Returns and Exchanges.
More about this piece
A mangalsutra bracelet keeps the black beads that carry the meaning on your wrist instead of your neck, a form more and more women choose for work, travel and everyday wear, where a full-length chain is not practical.
Because it is adjustable, it is one of the few pieces of jewellery you can gift without knowing a size, and the softer motifs are a safer choice than a heart or an initial when you are buying for a sister-in-law, a colleague or a new bride.
